Gaststätte Feldkamp

We’re delighted with our stay. The hosts were warm and accommodating, and paid attention to what guests needed. Breakfast was generous, served in a cozy old dining room with oak beams and a large former kitchen fireplace. Our room in the historic house was nicely furnished and clean, the bathroom was clean too, and the bed was comfortable.

I slept really well in the comfortable single room. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, and breakfast was plentiful and thoughtfully prepared. It’s a charming little guesthouse, and I’d gladly book again.

I’ve known this place since I was six, and now I’m 81. I still come back from Münster with my friends. I can’t believe you’re selling this lovely little gem to the SPD for the benefit of the village community. Why can’t it stay a hotel?

We had a lovely view from our window, though I imagine that depends on the room. The heating worked well and warmed the room quickly after we aired it out. Breakfast was a nicely presented spread of typical German food, rolls, bread, cheese, ham, jam, juice and more. The hosts were wonderful, and the room was tidy, clean, and well equipped, though the walls could use a wipe to get rid of a few dead insects. We’d definitely return.
