Everything was ready for us, including towels and bed linen arranged with care, and the contact was very friendly. We got useful suggestions for things to do, too. The countryside setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the sauna was in immaculate condition. The family looked after us so well. Many thanks, I highly recommend staying here.

The children were especially impressed, and there are enough activities here to fill more than two days. There’s a children’s park and aquafit, and most local activities come with discount cards. The owner is friendly and always available. The little ones were welcomed with delicious apple pie, and the adults got a small treat too. The small house is just outside Waldmünchen, quiet and child-friendly, with a slide, swing, sandpit, football goal, little sauna, and a small pool for the kids. Ideal for families, and highly recommended.

This review is based at least on an autumn stay, and perhaps summer is better. If you like a tent-like feel, a room temperature of 13°C, bathroom included, and shower water that’s only 30°C, you’ll be happy here. The level of penny-pinching would make Scrooge McDuck proud.

We came for a hike and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The holiday home was comfortably furnished, and I especially liked sleeping beneath the sloping roof. The hosts were very nice as well. The downside is that you have to drive to reach shops or places to eat.
