Am Rückerlhof

The area kept the children busy in all kinds of weather, with plenty of things to do and places to visit. We also felt right at home thanks to our warm, attentive hostess. The apartment was spotless and had everything we could need for a relaxing break. We had a truly lovely stay and would happily return.

Our granddaughter came along this time and is now a big fan too. Even though our children have grown up since we first started visiting in 1994, they still feel completely at home here. Monika and Georg are wonderful hosts, and their apartments are beautiful. We’re so glad these lovely people have become our friends. I wholeheartedly recommend the Rückerlhof for a holiday in the Bavarian Forest, with a great atmosphere and such kind hosts. Another wonderful week with you, Monika and Georg.

The kids had plenty of room to play and run around, and the apartment was cozy and well stocked. Monika and Georg were so welcoming, shared lots of ideas for excursions, and brought us delicious treats from their garden. We booked three apartments for a family weekend with twelve people, and everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, was delighted. The converted attic was a big hit, with foosball, darts, and ping-pong. The garden was great too, with excellent facilities and somewhere to sit out front. Even the teenagers loved it. The apartments were better equipped than we expected, and the whole place had a lovely feel. The owner was so kind she even brought us a homemade cake. I’d recommend staying here for a family get-together or holiday. The Hubers and family
