Rita, the owner, was fantastic, full of positive energy and ready to help with whatever activities you’re interested in, from biking and walking to swimming or the sauna. The hotel itself is in a peaceful, green spot among the hills, beside a little stream. It feels quiet and relaxing, yet Waldmunchen is only five minutes away. Breakfast was great, and paintings by her late husband hang throughout the place.

The owner is such a friendly, warm person, and she serves a fantastic breakfast with good coffee. The hotel has a romantic feel and sits in beautiful countryside. The interior is a little dated, apart from the new bathroom, but everything was comfortable and really clean.

We spent a lovely Easter weekend here with our toddler and felt right at home. There’s plenty of room in this beautiful historic building, set in a stunning spot, and it even has tennis courts. The owner was very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. They also mailed our child’s plate after we forgot it. Thanks again!

The terrace is a lovely place to unwind in the evening, and the whole team helped make my stay special. I was here on a business trip, and Hotel Frankenschleif was just right. It’s a beautiful, peaceful house surrounded by greenery. I’d gladly return, and it’s an easy top recommendation for me in Waldmünchen.

There’s lots to enjoy in the beautiful surroundings, including activities for children, and breakfast is very generous. The owner was kind and helpful, and the staff were just as friendly. Our rooms were lovely and tidy, with separate bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a very clean shower. The hotel is also in a beautiful, quiet location. I’d recommend it to everyone!
