Ferienpension Posthof

The owners are there and always friendly and ready to help. We’ve stayed at Posthof three times now, and each visit has left us delighted. It’s wonderfully secluded in the woods beside a stream, and the cosy holiday apartment has everything you need, even when rainy weather keeps you indoors. There are lots of great places to visit nearby. When it’s warm, we especially recommend Perlsee in Waldmünchen. Our two dogs are welcomed every time, too. We’d gladly return, and highly recommend Posthof. Many thanks to liebe Familie Feiner for their hospitality each time.

You can really switch off here. The forest means you rarely get a phone signal, and the host’s Wi-Fi does drop out now and then. The apartment is in the middle of the woods and works especially well for kids. It’s nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, a pleasant bathroom, and an open kitchen connected to the living and dining area. The host was warm and friendly, and even printed out ideas for nearby outings and attractions for children and brought them to the apartment.

It’s tucked into a cul-de-sac right by the forest, so it’s a great choice if you want peace and quiet. We felt very much at home and will definitely return. The hosts were so friendly and took care of everything we needed. The apartment was tastefully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

We stayed as two adults in apartment no. 1 in the first half of October, and had a lovely autumn visit. There was hardly any rain, and all the plants and trees around us had beautiful colors. You can step straight from the backyard into the forest, and parking right outside was easy. It’s a handy base for exploring the Bavarian Forest in Germany and the Czech Republic. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and easy to heat. There’s no microwave or double duvet, though neither bothered us. Games, cards, maps, and tourist information are provided. The owners were attentive and very friendly. We’d definitely return.
