A simple, family-run guesthouse with a really friendly feel. Dinner was freshly cooked and tasty. You'll need a car, since there are no shops or bakeries in the village.

It's a lovely place for a few restful days, set in an idyllic location with very friendly hosts and excellent food. There are good hiking options, and a trip to Passau is always worthwhile. After a day out, you can use the saunas on site and wind down with an evening in the restaurant. We'll definitely come back.

Breakfast was fresh and good, the rooms were clean, and the welcome was warm. I'd definitely stay here again.

The scenery is unique and the accommodation excellent. Hospitality at Maria Lenz's feels truly heartfelt. Cooking is an art there, and everything is done with feeling and humanity.

Everyone was so nice and friendly, and the food was excellent. The salad bar was a particular highlight. Highly recommend it.
