The Thai food was exceptionally tasty, and the service was outstanding. It’s an authentic Thai kitchen run by a Thai woman and her husband, with a beautifully designed interior. I’d recommend ordering different dishes and sharing, since they offer quite varied flavors.

The friendly staff and the price added to a good experience at this restaurant. I had the crispy duck in sweet-sour sauce (130), which was tasty and nicely crisp. For dessert, the fried banana with vanilla ice cream (507) had a good balance of sweetness.

The restaurant looked fantastic, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. My meal was okay, but nothing special. I ordered a dish marked with two chili symbols because I like hot Asian food, but it wasn’t hot at all. Luckily, I could ask for some Samba Olek. The portion was also a bit mean, and I found myself wanting more. Our group of about 20 guests spent an average of €50 per couple. We thought a small schnapps or fortune cookie would have been a nice way to finish dinner, but nothing was offered, which left things feeling anticlimactic. It was okay, but nothing to write home about.

A very good Thai restaurant and handy when you're travelling through. You can book a room upstairs and have dinner downstairs. Be sure to visit Detmold, it’s a must-see.

The breakfast buffet was great, and the rooms were very nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but the price-to-quality ratio was excellent.
