The host family were friendly and helpful, and parking was right by the house. Edeka is nearby, while the town center and train station are an easy walk away. We were a couple using two rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Everything felt cozy and was well furnished, and the beds were as comfortable for us as the ones at home. The place is naturally quiet. The radio signal through the antenna was weak, but the Wi-Fi, included in the price, made up for that. A great choice for 2-4 people.

We rented ground-floor apartment number 4, an 85-square-meter place described as four-star standard. It was spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the furnishings were generally good. Still, the living-room sofa was worn and stained, and the kitchen felt rather small. Being beside the main entrance meant we could hear guests coming back, and at night the entrance light shone through the glass panel in the apartment door and lit up the hallway. We were also surprised that the Hochschwarzwald Card wasn't included, which hadn't happened to us before and which we hadn't known about. Comparing prices is worthwhile.

We had a relaxing stay in very good accommodation. We'd be happy to come back.
