The Gästekarte from the hotel was free and let me travel by train, bus, and tram across the whole SCHWARZWALD. I used it every day, and getting from A to B on the comfortable trains of Bade Würtemburg regio was easy. The hotel pension is in a village among the Blackforest mountains, and makes a pleasant, quiet, comfortable stay for a week or two. It’s cheap, too. My room had two parts: a big bedroom roomy enough for two, with a toilet and shower, plus a Big balcony. The German-French breakfast was included and delicious, and generous. Extra drinks were good and cheap as well, especially the excellent Apfelshorle. The owner is kind and sympathetic, gives good advice, chats easily, and is a good waiter who likes to share about all sorts of things. Whatever you need, he answers with great kindness. Say thank you, because he works hard for you seven days a week. In France I can’t imagine seeing such good work done in such a good mood. Thanks a lot Stephan. I’ll definitely return.
