The location works well, and breakfast was okay. It’s a pretty standard place to stop for the night, but the cleanliness fell short for me. There were stains on the floor and even fleas in the room, despite it being winter.

The hotel Wi-Fi is painfully slow. A YouTube video can take three times longer to load than the video takes to watch.

A clean, reasonably priced modern hotel in an industrial estate, with easy access to the main roads. Nothing particularly distinctive, just another modern hotel.

The staff were upbeat and amazing, and our room was clean. We left straight away, though, because it was sweltering in summer without AC, and there was no room service. We could have avoided that surprise by checking the hotel and room features more carefully before booking. Instead, we went to downtown Mannheim, just 20 minutes from Hockenheim, and stayed at the much more accommodating Raddison.

The window views were beautiful, and the rooms were clean and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I stayed for two days.
