That little kids’ playroom beside the dining area was a lovely bonus, and the Dutch mustard soup was my favorite. We’d only come in for the restaurant in the woods. The road was a bit swampy this time of year, but we got there. The host was so friendly, and the food was delicious. Perfect!

We came across this place by chance, and even the phone call to check availability was met with such a friendly, helpful response. On arrival we got just as warm a welcome, followed by very professional service throughout. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely come back.

The vegan dishes really stood out, fresh, creative, and delicious, and the service was so warm. We felt welcome right away, and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was fantastic. A real hidden gem in the Harz Mountains. We’ll be back for sure!
