The sauna was amazing, and the staff were very friendly. It’s a very nice hotel, though the food wasn’t very tasty, unfortunately. The pool was quite cold when we went, so we couldn’t stay in.

The sauna area was lovely, and although the pool is small, there are plenty of loungers. The hotel is spotless, the staff very pleasant, and there's free parking. It's also in a peaceful spot that works well for hiking. Our family room felt cramped, though, and the meals were very average. Breakfast especially let us down: too much seemed industrial, and it felt like we kept eating the same things.

We found the staff willing to help, though at times they came across as a little rude. The hotel is fine for a night or two on the Malerweg, but doesn't quite live up to its advertised four-star status. Breakfast was okay, yet the serving stations were much too close together for proper pandemic distancing. Mask wearing was inconsistent among both staff and guests. At dinner, a vegetarian option wasn't always available; staff tried to help, but could only suggest putting together the vegetables on hand.

The town is peaceful and has a medieval castle, and the hotel itself is very nice. Rooms were clean, and the staff were especially helpful. There's also a small outdoor pool and a sauna. Just note that the city tax is extra and isn't part of the room price.

A lovely place for a family looking for peace and nature. The setting is wonderful, the hotel is very good quality, and the people there are kind and respectful.
