Hotel Hollenstedter Hof

That huge family room, number 18, gave the kids plenty of space, and they loved the attic level with its two extra beds. We were there for one night on our way to Denmark, but the area seems worth spending more time in. The hotel has been renovated recently, with everything feeling new and high quality. We ate in the restaurant downstairs too. Good food and really friendly staff. We’d definitely come back, highly recommend it.

The room had a slightly shabby-chic, classical feel, like the late 19th century, but it was in very good shape. The old manor house is well situated, and the rooms have been completely redone. Our bathroom was brand new, spotless, and nicely designed. Service was polite and prices were good. I’d gladly return when I’m travelling in the area.

We stopped for one night while driving through Germany. The family room was lovely and clean, and service was great. The hotel felt surprisingly fresh, and the food was great too. I’d absolutely recommend it for a stop like ours.

The room was lovely, though it still seemed to be under construction. A few things were missing, including some lights, and they were painting the corridors. Breakfast was good. Parking was limited, so we had to find a space around the corner and walk back.
