The team made our wedding day feel special from the start. We first sat down with the staff to talk through what we wanted, and they were respectful and helpful in bringing our plans to life. Since German weather can change quickly, we had an outdoor plan for the events and an indoor backup. They were flexible enough to let the party go past midnight, and arranged for a multilingual waiter, Mr. Menendez, so our English, Spanish, and German speaking guests could all be accommodated. The food and drinks were delicious and suited the season, from finger foods, cocktails, refreshments and snacks through the day to the main courses. The dishes were a great mix of local food, and all our guests enjoyed their meals, including those with dietary restrictions. The rooms were clean, had themed decorations, heating and air conditioning, and good insulation so we couldn’t hear other guests. Parking was spread out around the area, but there was plenty for everyone. We chose Kloster Hornbach to celebrate our wedding and were very happy with that decision. We also loved how its history in the area sits alongside a modern style and amenities. Thank you for everything. Mr. and Mrs. Daniels

The staff were attentive and caring about all the details, which made for a lovely stay. This old cloister has become a boutique hotel with a spa and restaurant, and it feels cosy and welcoming despite also being suited to weddings. It’s a great stop in the German countryside, about an hour off the highway. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Sharing Loesch für Freunde with my family had been a dream of mine after visiting several times for work, and it was wonderful to have that experience together. We spent a fantastic weekend there with our extended family, 16 people in 10 rooms. The rooms were outstanding and tastefully designed, and the caring, thoughtful service made everyone feel at home and helped make the stay warm, comfortable, and joyful. The food was excellent too, and having our meals together at the long table was a real delight. The magic worked once again!

We celebrated our wedding at this great hotel and restaurant some years ago, and now we tend to return for our anniversary. We enjoy the atmosphere and having a little time away.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly. The food and drinks are nice when the kitchen and its staff aren’t understaffed. Unfortunately, that happened during wedding season when the kloster had a lot of guests. At the high prices here, you’d expect better.
