The Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte was just right, with Sauerkirschen and Kirsch, and it brought back childhood memories. The other typical Schwarzwald dishes were excellent too. We had a lovely stay at this family-owned and run place, with the owners always around and very friendly.

We came for lunch. My Schnitzel was perfect, and the homemade Spätzle was great too. The location is nice, though it isn’t modern. Mobile reception is poor. They do have WiFi, but you might have to ask for it. Putting the WiFi QR code right on the menu would solve the problem.

We stopped in for cake and got exactly that. My parents were really happy with the quality of the Schwarzwälder kirsch torte, and I can honestly say the apple pie was the most flavorful, best one I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly too, so I highly recommend it!

The family atmosphere, good food, and comfortable room made for a lovely stay, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by nature and makes an excellent base for trips in the area. We were lucky with the weather, too.

All the family were exceptionally friendly, pleasant, and easy to talk to. The place is in a beautiful spot, and I found it while passing through on a long drive. I stayed one night, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. There’s a great range of traditional dishes on the menu, and the Black Forest Gateaux was delicious. A top find, highly recommended.
