During a 10-day business trip, I stayed at Landgasthof zum Schwanen and felt at home thanks to the owner and staff, who were friendly and accommodating every day. The vegan meals were especially thoughtful. I said the marmalade at the self-service breakfast table was fine, but they surprised me with vegan spreads and even vegan salami. For dinner, they made a different fresh vegan meal off the menu each day. Every dish was creative and delicious, and I never had the same one twice. That kind of personal care is rare, especially for vegan guests. I’d absolutely recommend Landgasthof zum Schwanen to anyone, vegan or not, looking for a welcoming stay with delicious food. Easily a 5+ star experience.

This Landgasthaus has been around for a very long time, and it's a lovely place, with warm, friendly service and really good food and beer. The Förenbuhl Loop starts right opposite the entrance and parking lot.
