Haus Bergglück

We ended up agreeing to get our money back and leave, though finding somewhere else just before Pentecost was difficult. The problems started when we tried calling the hostess several times on arrival day. She didn’t answer and only got back to us shortly before we arrived. We’d booked and paid well in advance because the apartment seemed right for us, with two bedrooms and the option to bring our small dog. Inside, the stove was dirty, and the hostess had forgotten to clean the second room. She offered to come over and sort it out, but while we waited, we kept looking around. The small toilet was filthy. The toilet in the main bathroom was full of pee, with visible traces of the previous guest’s heavy bowel movement. It was a nightmare.

We’d definitely stay again. Communication and arrangements were seamless, and the landlord was friendly and accommodating. The house has everything you could need, and it’s clearly cared for with love and kept spotless. The garden is great for relaxing in summer, while the big winter garden is handy on rainy days. Excellent value for money! 👍👍👍
