The shower kept switching from warm to cold after a day out in the cold, though at least there was water. The room looked very old, and the bed was uncomfortable and creaked every time I turned over, like it might break. My best moment was closing the door behind me when I left. Maybe nothing has been done to the hotel since 1940 because of other interests ;) All jokes aside, don’t go here. It’s shit.

We’d definitely come back if we need somewhere to sleep on the way to our vacation. The restaurant’s dinner and breakfast were perfect, and the room was cozy and very clean. The bed felt a bit too hard, but the staff were so friendly and kind.

The staff seemed okay, but getting help meant repeatedly going to another location for the main reception and restaurant, which was inconvenient. The guest house, rather than the hotel itself, wasn’t appealing. The rooms were very old and rusty, and the kitchen had flies and moths, so we ate elsewhere for our whole stay. The bedding was awful, and the room and bed were horribly uncomfortable. This might suit people who care more about quantity than quality.

Furstenberg is a peaceful village not far from Bad Dürrheim, making it convenient for a short break to rest and recharge. The room cleaning was excellent, and the meal-serving staff were very nice, especially Ms. Jam. Thank you!

The room itself is fine, but the bathroom door is broken and won’t move, so there’s no privacy in there.
