We had a typical European continental breakfast in the cafeteria, with plenty to choose from: different breads, cheese, meat, jelly, cereal, and juices. The room was small, with two single beds and a table between them. The bathroom was about the size of a large closet, with a shower, but it did the job. Each room number is named after a holy person, and there’s information about that person on the inside of the door. Along the hallway there are reading rooms, a small library with a few books, mostly in German, and a TV. This is a Catholic Monastery, which I found at the last minute on my phone while visiting my son in Hunfeld, Germany. It was easy to find, a large Church / Monastery in the middle of the old part of the city. I think I paid about 80.00 Euros, though I don’t really remember. The price seemed reasonable for my wife and me. “Something Different.” Would we stay again? Yes.
