The food was generous and good, and the staff were really friendly. Our room had a huge bed with comfortable mattresses too. The toilet is why I gave four stars: it seems loose and needs fixing, and there was a smell coming from it.

The owner was very friendly, and we had a couple of nice conversations during our stay. My wife and I chose Landgasthof zum Wiesengrund because it was roughly between where our two sons live, just a few miles or kilometers from each. The price for two nights was very reasonable, and breakfast was included. It was a continental breakfast, which is typical for a German Gasthaus. I can’t think of anything bad to say and would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We always enjoy coming here when we’re back in Germany. My wife is from Rossbach, and some of her family still live in town.
