Yusuf was especially attentive and always ready to help, and the rest of the staff were very friendly too. I found the hotel in Rostock comfortable, clean, and modern, with a convenient spot near the city centre. Breakfast was varied and good quality. It’s a great base for enjoying the city.

The restaurant is right by the road, though its fully enclosed patio helps with that. Inside, the show kitchen is great and the staff are lovely. The menu is very good, with fair prices: I paid under 20 EUR for three courses, dessert, and a beer. Our four dishes arrived in about 10 minutes. The huge tiramisu was freshly made and delicious, and the pizza is among the best in or near Rostock. They also do lovely fresh starters, including tomato soup. I’ll definitely go back.

The service and drinks were good, and there’s a pleasant outdoor seating area. The rooms had decent furnishings, though they looked a little dated, and the place didn’t really look like a hotel at first. Sadly, it was very dirty. (July 25)
