We stopped here for a nice break. The staff were kind, service was quick, and the price was good. We only ate in the restaurant, though I think the rooms are nice too.

The valley setting is lovely, and the staff were really friendly. Service was quick, with prices about average for the area. I’m only rating the restaurant: the cake and coffee were just mediocre, maybe they focus more on hot meals. The interior has a traditional feel, but in my view it could use some renovation.

The food was very tasty, and the price felt fair: with two drinks, everything came to €33. We had meat loaf with creamy cabbage and potatoes, grilled goat’s cheese with beetroot and balsamic salad, then Apple Streusel cake. After visiting the historical Hürtgen Forrest, we enjoyed sitting on the outdoor verandah in the peaceful valley beside the stream. Service was very friendly. There were lots of wasps and flies, which was the only nuisance, but that’s nature. Would recommend.

The food was incredibly good, and breakfast too. Staff were friendly and professional. It’s beautifully set in the valley, though the place really needs renovation soon.
