It was very quiet, so I slept really well and felt comfortable. I booked a single room three times, and each time my contact with the owner was very friendly. Ringleben is a small village 11 km from Bad Frankenhausen. From outside, the guesthouse seems quite unassuming, but it feels different once you step in. Nearly all the rooms have been newly renovated, and the restaurant looks inviting too. We only got to have dinner there once, unfortunately, but it was very good and plentiful. Breakfast was just as good and plentiful. I'd definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

The location is very remote and quiet, though cell reception is really poor. The room was small and cozy, with separate beds, and the bathroom was very small too. There is a fan in the room, which is essential at the moment. Some parts of the guesthouse are still under construction, which I find unfortunate.

I booked quickly yesterday and was really pleased with the room. It was good and affordable, and the staff were friendly. The barbecue evening came as a surprise, but it was good. Renovating the house is clearly a huge job and will take time, though it didn't make the stay worse. You want to explore the area, then relax with food and a place to stay, and that's what you get. Dogs are allowed, too 👍👍. Once the house is finished, it'll definitely be five stars 👍
