It’s surprisingly peaceful here for a hotel right in the city center, and the rooms feel warm, comfortable, and spotless. The staff are kind and quick to help, and there’s a very sweet, well-behaved dog greeting people at reception. The whole place has a homey feel. A really dependable choice if you’re staying in this part of town.

Breakfast was good quality, and booking directly at the hotel was a good price. The rooms were clean, the location was handy, and there’s free parking less than a 5 minute walk away. Friendly service too. 5 stars overall.

The hotel’s close to the Altstadt and shops, and there are umbrellas by the entrance to borrow if it rains. Breakfast was plentiful enough that you won’t go hungry. Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean. At night it’s quiet, with fly screens on the windows. The air conditioning is handy, though noisy. About once an hour it makes a loud zooming sound. Also, despite what the booking listing says, there isn’t a parking garage. There is fenced parking for motorcycles.

A quaint little place in Idstein’s old city center. The breakfast was generous and everyone working there was very friendly. I’d happily come back if I get the chance.

The host was so welcoming and made everything easy and relaxing. The beds were good, and so was breakfast.
