The hosts are friendly, easygoing, and always ready to help. They can suggest a good outing whenever you need one. The apartment is well maintained, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the place is surrounded by green space. There’s a roomy shower and even a clean washing machine. It’s a great base for excursions and hiking routes, and we’ve happily returned for years. I’d recommend the apartment to anyone. Have fun and enjoy your time in the Allgäu.

The house cats are adorable, but they were so noisy at night that, over three nights, I slept about as much as I normally do in one. I can’t understand the positive reviews. We were on the ground floor, where the spacious bathroom could only be reached through the hallway by the front door. The room and bathroom were clean, but very basic, even for an Airbnb. The bed creaked with every movement and the mattress was worn out. The thermoelectric fridge had to be turned off at night if we wanted to sleep. The fan ran constantly, and water kept pouring into some kind of overflow basin outside the window. That was noisy too. I’d usually expect to find cleaning things like a broom or vacuum in an Airbnb, but there was nothing like that here. In my opinion, that led to an unfairly negative Airbnb review. The place felt like an expensive youth hostel, minus the benefits of one. I’d suggest spending a few more euros at the nearest inn, where breakfast is included. We had to go without breakfast because of the excessively loud refrigerator and the Bavarian custom of closing all restaurants on Sundays and public holidays.

Patricia, Ralf, and their animals made our whole family feel so welcome. It’s a lovely apartment, and the hosts are very friendly. We’ll definitely come back!
