Pension Gutshaus Kaltenhof

The atmosphere was lovely, the beds comfortable, and parking was good. This guesthouse hotel also has a nice kitchen for dinner and serves a good breakfast. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the beach. The staff were wonderful, with special thanks to Sebastian for the welcome and attentive care.

Breakfast was amazing, with lots of homemade things like butter, bread, and jam. Our room was very large, clean, and cozy, and you could tell everything had been done with care. We recommend the place for short or even long stays. We checked in late, and the woman at reception waited for us until 22:00, even though the hotel’s check-in time ends at 20:00. Thank you, we really appreciate that! 💗

The island is beautiful and cozy, and we had a good experience overall. Our apartment was a good size, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. The price wasn’t too bad, and breakfast was surprisingly good for 7£/p. There were a few things that let it down. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the bedrooms in room17, and there was no air conditioning. The lounge and dining area felt uncomfortable to me because it was so quiet, with unpleasant party music that made the atmosphere weird. Almost all the staff I noticed didn’t speak English. That’s okay in itself, but at a hotel or motel I expect enough English to communicate decently. The surroundings and building are beautiful, but I’d expected better food and working Wi-Fi. I’d recommend the place, just keep your expectations in check.

The location is unbelievable, and the staff are very well trained. Great food and drinks, too. I like it.
