Great people and great food.

The rooms were spacious, stylish, and had plenty of room to relax. We also spent a lovely, laid-back weekend in the sauna, outdoor whirlpool, and on a movie night in the cinema at Gutshaus Neu Gaarz. There were 12 of us, all women, and we were made to feel welcome from the start. The three-course dinner we prepared ourselves that evening was a real highlight, lovingly put together and delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful throughout. A perfect spot for a getaway! 🌿

The apartment was huge and in really good condition, and the service was excellent. There was a fireplace as well as radiators in every room, and we could use the rooftop terrace with its fantastic view. The bathroom was the one small drawback. We were lucky with the rental, and if we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stay there. Thanks!

The breakfast was the one small thing we’d improve. At €18 per person, we expected a wider selection, since the buffet didn’t quite feel worth the price. It’s a minor point, though. We gladly give Gutshaus Neu Gaarz 5 stars PLUS, recommend it wholeheartedly, and would love to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We spent an unforgettable weekend there with six couples, following the “Better Together” theme. The lovingly renovated property is beautiful and tastefully furnished, with spacious, clean, stylish guest rooms and a bathroom in each. The grounds are enchanting, with broad views of nature, well-tended gardens, a small lake next door, beach chairs, horses, and goats. There’s a lovely mix of peace and freedom, and the fire pit, common rooms, and outdoor areas made it easy to relax and spend time together. The staff and owner were exceptionally friendly, warm, and accommodating. We could use everything freely, move around as we liked, and arrange the rooms to suit our weekend. We catered for ourselves outside breakfast, and the kitchen was so well equipped that we didn’t lack a thing.
