Ferienwohnung Bayerwaldblick

The hosts were very welcoming, and the apartment felt like home. It was spotless and roomy, with comfortable box-spring beds and quality furnishings throughout. Families are well catered for: there’s a crib, changing table, high chair, step stool, toys, and outdoor toys. Parking is behind the house. Highly recommend it.

We'd been coming to this region in both summer and winter for years, but last week was our first stay with the warm and hospitable Schmalzbauer family. We had a lovely winter sports holiday in Jandelsbrunn and would happily recommend it. The apartment is roomy and fully equipped. All the bedrooms, the living room, and the kitchen open onto a balcony, and the very large bathroom has a walk-in rain shower. There's also lots of space in the hallway for wet shoes, which came in handy for winter sports. Hochficht ski area is just a 20-minute drive away.

We stayed with the Schmalzbauer family for a week in June 2024 and would gladly return. The view was fantastic, and the location made it easy to head out on excursions. The apartment was modern, very clean, and spacious, with everything we needed, including mosquito nets. The hosts were very friendly.

Through rally racing I've stayed in places all over Germany, and the Bayerwaldblick apartment is the best of them. We were there last October. It was spotless and roomy, with thoughtful furnishings and everything you need for a holiday stay. Ludwig and Sandra Schmalzbauer are lovely, warm hosts who made us feel at home.
