The view was really good, and the hotel was cozy, clean, and in a good location. There's good food at the bakery, and the IKSCON temple is just 3 kilometers away. All in all, it was a good stay.

Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious, and the value for money was really good. We had the wild boar medallion with finger noodles, beans, pumpkin, herb mushrooms, and herbs for just under €18, plus venison ragout with homemade spaetzle, roasted pumpkin, and cranberries for just under €16. It's organic, that's for sure. We finally got to try Pilger's Restaurant. The young owners have beautifully renovated it, keeping a nice mix of old and new, and both the dining room and children's room are very well done. Noise wasn't an issue, and the service was friendly. It was a bit cold, only just bearable, and the wait for food was sometimes really long, about 1 1/4 hours. We had time, but started to get hungry. We were otherwise very satisfied. Taking a point off for the wait and the temperature, though with the young team, you learn a lot and it all turns out well. 👍🏻

The terrace or balcony is a real plus, nice and spacious. And the staff are sooooo friendly. But after that first impression, the problems set in. Wi-Fi only reaches the hallway, not the room, and even there it took a long while to find a signal. There are just two sockets in the room and one in the toilet, unless you find the splitter under the bed that eats you up...!

The food was excellent, whether meat or vegetarian, and the atmosphere was friendly and family-like. Thanks to Lena and Tobi, we felt completely at ease :-)
