From the house, we walked along the dike with our dog to the old oil rig, and that was such a lovely outing. We spent New Year’s Eve here and were thrilled to welcome the new year in this wonderful place. The house sits among beautiful nature behind the dike, where flocks of wild geese flew overhead and settled right beside the terrace. The house itself was spotless, tidy, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. The host who gave us the key was wonderful and always available to help. It was just perfect. Thank you for letting us stay!

We had a few wonderful days here in autumn and will definitely be back. The holiday home is fantastic, with modern, high-quality furnishings, a wood-burning stove, four full-size beds, and a great view of the polder.

The quiet made it easy to fully relax, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The house exceeded what we expected, with a beautiful interior and everything fully equipped, so we didn’t lack a thing. Thanks to the owners. My photo shows the house from the top of the dike, it’s the middle house.

Right beside the dike, this is a cozy place to spend a holiday, close to the former drilling platform in Dyksterhusen.

The peaceful setting made this pretty fisherman's cottage feel especially cozy. We’d happily stay here again.
