There's a lot going on in the building, with several function rooms and a rooftop terrace upstairs. The hotel also has a wellness area with friendly, experienced staff. If you'd like a treatment, though, book it when you reserve your stay, or at least a week beforehand. The dinner buffet was really good, and a drinks menu before ordering would be useful. Breakfast was the best buffet I've had in Germany, and the staff were very helpful.

I had a good stay and would recommend the hotel, but a few things kept it to three stars for me. The staff were friendly, there was plenty of parking, and my room had enough space and storage. The gym was a plus, and breakfast started early at 6:30 with a good range of cheese, meat, sweets, and eggs. But on most days I had to wait 20 to 30 minutes for scrambled eggs, and I didn't have that kind of time. The gym wasn't open around the clock, and someone had to open it, even though it was included with the spa area. Some days there were no towels, and there was no water fountain. A few barbells would have been a nice addition, too. There was no mini fridge in the room.

The food was really nice, and better than we expected. My wife and I spent four days and three nights here, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. We both enjoyed our stay so much. Just a great experience all around.

The premium rooms have plenty of space and are well equipped. I found the staff a little inattentive. Other guests would stand outside talking and smoking late at night, disturbing people, and the coach parties left early without keeping quiet.
