Pension Zur Eiche

Drebenstedt is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which suited us just fine. The landscape is idyllic, with gorgeous old trees and complete peace and quiet. Our modern, clean room was ready when we arrived, and self check-in was easy. Drinks were available in a self-service fridge, breakfast had everything you'd expect at this price and then some, and Wi-Fi was included. Dogs are welcome for a small extra charge, and the value for money is excellent. We'd gladly stay again.

The rooms are ultra-modern and spotless, and the host is super friendly. It's a fantastic place to stay if you love nature, with beautiful scenery all around. The old farm seems to be turning into a lovely guesthouse bit by bit. Some areas are still being renovated, but there wasn't any active work, so our peace and quiet wasn't disturbed. We visited while the heather was in bloom, and the price was great too. A real dream, highly recommended!

The owner was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. When I still hadn't arrived by dusk, he called to check that everything was okay. Breakfast was excellent, and before I left he gave me useful route suggestions. The family-run guesthouse has what a traveler needs: simple, functional furnishings, and a clean, comfortable room with its own bathroom, TV, and Wi-Fi. There's also a drinks fridge right next door. An ideal place for hikers, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

We arrived late, but getting into our room was no problem. Mr. Jäger made a real effort to make our stay comfortable, and he was lovely with our child and dog. The modern room was very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. Even though we were the only guests that weekend night, there was a full breakfast buffet with plenty to choose from. We stayed one night and will definitely come back to Mr. Jäger's guesthouse.
