Haus Kap Horn

Pension Kap Horn turned a stressful Easter break into a wonderful holiday, and we’d gladly return. We wholeheartedly recommend Pension Kaphorn. We arrived on Juist with our three-month-old after a dreadful start to the trip, from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday. Our first accommodation was completely unsuitable: no private toilet, the shower downstairs, our room upstairs, and no space for the stroller. With an infant, it just wasn’t workable. We found Pension Kap Horn through Booking.com while searching desperately, and it was our lucky break. Ms. Westermann was warm, friendly, and helpful from the first phone call, and we were welcomed in person as though we’d known each other for years. Our ground-floor room was clean, tidy, and had its own bathroom, which was invaluable with a baby. The place is thoughtfully run with a family feel. The little practical things mattered a lot. I pump breast milk, and they let me keep it in the refrigerator without any fuss, which was a huge relief. Service really matters here. Breakfast was fresh and lovingly presented, in a lovely atmosphere. Families are treated with such warmth and ease. Even when our little one cried, we never felt we were causing a problem. I spent a week here on my own and had a lovely room with a terrace. The owners are so welcoming that you feel at home right away. Breakfast had lots of tasty things, including some homemade items. Cape Horn is always worth a visit!

We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were super friendly, the rooms neat and clean, and breakfast was great. We’d love to come back.
