Hotel-Pension Haus Christa

I had a single room with a sink, which was really handy. The shower and toilet were across the hall for my private use. The room was simple and a little old-fashioned, but very clean, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. A chair or stool in the little entry area outside the shower would have been useful. If you need luxurious rooms, this probably isn’t the place. But for a great breakfast, attentive service, and a good location, it’s an easy choice. Everyone was friendly, relaxed, and open to requests. Two friends staying in another house were even able to join us for breakfast for an extra charge. The family-run Haus Christa made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was beyond perfect: homemade bread every day, salmon, fresh cucumber and peppers, eggs made to order, lovely coffee, colorful fruit salad, and much more. They already knew my drink preferences by the second morning, and the buffet was kept full. Kudos to the service! I’ll remember my stay fondly and want to thank the Niggemeyer family.

I always want to stay here. It’s simple and clean, in a warm, family-run guesthouse with a fantastic location. The family is incredibly kind and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is made with so much care, with homemade jams, bread and rolls, probiotic yogurt, and fruit and vegetables, some grown right there. The buffet has everything else you could want, too. There’s a lovely common room with lots of books, games, and information, where they serve coffee, tea, cake, and other refreshments. Thank you so much!!!

It was my first stay at Christa's, and I came away so happy with it. The rooms were all excellent, and the place is wonderfully peaceful, just right for unwinding. The Niggemeier family made us feel incredibly welcome ♥️ Breakfast was fantastic, with so many kinds of homemade bread, and the location is great, including a dog beach. I'm already looking forward to next year.
