There’s a pleasant garden around the house, with comfortable places to sit. If the weather cooperates, you can catch the sunset from the car-free street, and the beach is only a few hundred meters away through the dunes. The landlady lives in the house and is very friendly, accommodating, and easy to reach. Rooms are well furnished, with a radio and fast Wi-Fi but no TV. On the first floor, guests share a kitchen, two toilets, and a shower. It’s a self-catering house, and sharing usually works out well. The landlady studied music, and guests can use her private music room by request, as long as they’re considerate of others. One woman even had a few singing lessons while I was there. As another review mentioned, though, there isn’t an actual “music school.” I highly recommend the place.

It’s a lovely room for a very reasonable price, and the friendly landlady gives the place an almost family-like feel. There are rooms in several sizes as well as an apartment. From the rooms, a shared hall leads to the communal facilities: a fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, and sink, plus the shower and toilets. Wi-Fi is free. And yes, you can actually make music here, so bring your instrument to Juist if you like.

A quiet little house between the dunes and the Wadden Sea. It’s welcoming even in winter, and rental bikes are available right there. The attentive hostess lives in the house.

You can make music, do yoga, and more here. The landlady is very friendly, the rooms and apartments are lovely, and it’s peaceful, right by the dunes.
