Hampton by Hilton Kaiserslautern

We come back every year for the Christmas Markts, and it feels like home here. Downtown is an easy walk away. The beds and pillows are really comfortable, and the drinks are great. Breakfast is always so, so good.

The breakfast buffet was lovely. It may not look like a huge spread at first, but there’s plenty to pick from. Our room was clean and very nice, and I wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were kind, too. We paid 129€ per night. I couldn’t get a receipt when checking out because the WiFi was down, but they emailed the invoice afterward, so that was sorted perfectly.

The location worked so well for me, with shops, coffee places, and restaurants all around a 10-15 minute walk away. My room was modern and clean, and breakfast had a fantastic range of fresh, tasty food. Front desk service was excellent as well. I loved my stay and this will be my regular hotel when I’m in the area.

The bar and some food are available late, which was great after work, and downtown is close enough to walk to for all kinds of food and shops. We also really liked the tasty included breakfast and coffee, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff made us feel welcome and were always responsive. Sasha, Olli, and Brandon were the people we saw and chatted with most, and everyone was great at their jobs. My husband stayed for two months, then I joined him for four weeks. Of all the hotels we’ve stayed in together, this one was easily our favorite. We could have used more space for clothes and a microwave in the room, but otherwise it was a perfect stay. We hope to come back and stay here again.
