Breakfast was good, though it could have had more variety. The reception service was great, and the room was spacious, very clean, and nicely done, with comfortable beds. We’ll definitely come back.

By 9pm, everything in the village is shut and it feels like life stops. The breakfast was very limited too, mostly different kinds of eggs, with no desserts. The rooms were spotless and tidy, but that was the only plus for me. For what you pay in this area, I expected more: there’s no kettle or water in the room, and finding the coffee machine in another building was impossible for me. The reception may be open, but you can’t find anyone there 24/7. No one spoke English, so even explaining basic things was difficult. In the evening, there was no way for me to get tea or coffee.

Breakfast has vegan and vegetarian choices, and the rooms are roomy, modern, and have fast Wi-Fi. The hotel is neat and well priced. It’s about a 12-15 minute train ride from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof, making it a nice place to unwind after seeing Dortmund or spend a lovely weekend.

The photos don't match the actual rooms. Bad.
