The restaurant “Ratskeller” made our time in Kamenz. We were impressed by the menu, especially the fresh ingredients and creative combinations. There’s a good range for vegetarians and a kids’ menu too, which tasted great. Service and atmosphere were both lovely. We didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t rate it, but the restaurant is absolutely worth recommending.

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve come across at a hotel, and the restaurant food was fresh and delicious. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming too. A real gem, and I’d gladly recommend it.

The hotel looks really nice, and we enjoyed eating at the restaurant. Our room, though, didn’t leave much of an impression, and the mattress was just okay. I’m not sure I’d book here again. We stayed two nights, and getting the key sorted out was a bit of a nightmare. We found out on arrival day that reception would be closed when we got there, just after 8 pm. Since the hotel has a great restaurant, I hadn’t expected that on a Sunday night.

It’s a small, clean hotel in a small town, quite different from the big city kind. The staff were kind, the room well equipped, and breakfast was nice. There’s a government office opposite and a church nearby, so you hear their bells every quarter hour. I grew up somewhere with bells ringing all the time and liked it, though I can imagine it being too much for some people.

There are lots of odd little passageways, which makes the place feel strange, but it’s pleasant. The service was nice, the rooms clean and well kept, and the restaurant food was tasty with nicely presented dishes.
