Rennstieg-Hotel Rettelbusch

Great location.

The hotel's position makes a perfect starting point for walks in the beautiful Hainich area. Our group of 18 felt very comfortable at the Rennstieg Hotel and would gladly recommend it. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Meals for the group were arranged to suit our needs and worked out wonderfully. Before we arrived, we were given lots of useful information and ideas for excursions, and we received a very warm welcome as a hiking group.

We had a lovely New Year's Eve here, with an overnight stay and breakfast. The staff were incredibly welcoming, more so than almost anywhere else. Keep it up!

We’ve been here several times, especially for dinner in the dark, and last Friday was just as memorable. It was a striking experience for all the senses. The atmosphere was so enjoyable that it was hard to keep our attention on touch, feel, taste, smell, and even hearing. We tried and explored everything, with sight deliberately taken out of the picture for a while. The food tasted excellent, too. You could feel the chef’s and whole team’s passion throughout the evening. We’ll happily tell people about it. See you next time in the light.
