That mushroom sauce was lovely, though I think it would suit one of their Black Forest steaks better than the schnitzel. That's just my personal preference. My wife had the cream sauce with her pork schnitzel and it went really well. It was our first time trying pork schnitzel, and we both loved it with the fried potatoes. We started with a very nice soup, and the bread came with a dip I took for homemade horseradish cream. The waiter explained it was simply fresh garlic chopped into mayonnaise. The restaurant and setting were beautiful too.

The restaurant's food was the standout, much better than we expected, and the staff made us feel welcome. Elsäßer Hof also has comfortable rooms that worked well for an overnight stay near Europa Park. A cozy option if you're visiting the park and want a good meal.

Really tasty food, and the staff were so friendly. The rooms felt fresh and looked nice. I definitely recommend staying here.

Lunch was delicious, and service was quick and really nice. There were plenty of good-quality vegetarian and vegan choices. We had the homemade spinach and cheese pancakes with mushrooms and vegetables added, plus a vegan burger. The kids were happy with their meat burgers too.

We only stopped in for dinner, and both dishes were so good: the best Cordon Bleu I've ever had, and a really good Schnitzel. Service was fast and friendly, and they have doggy bags if you want to take food away.
