The meal itself was delicious, but the service made for a really disappointing evening. We were visiting the region from Luxembourg and had booked a table for eight on Sunday, November 9, hoping to try authentic German food. Our reservation was for 8:00 p.m., and we even arrived a little early. The young blonde waitress didn't seem very enthusiastic that night. Our drinks and food came out, but we couldn't get any more drinks without asking three times for one beer and one Coke. They finally arrived after we'd finished eating. Clearing the table was a mess. Even though we'd stacked the plates to help, only one was taken every ten minutes, leaving us waiting with a half-cleared table while the waitress chatted with coworkers. We wanted dessert, but her lack of motivation made us feel like a nuisance, so we gave up on it. When we asked why later-arriving guests had already eaten dessert and left while we were still waiting, and why nobody had cleared our table, her answer was: “You’re not happy with the service? Well, it’s already late — you should have come earlier.” We paid at exactly 9:30 p.m. Unbelievable. Some emotional intelligence would've helped. If our table had been cleared on time, we could easily have saved 30 to 45 minutes. If orders aren't possible after a certain time, guests should be told before ordering, or even before a reservation is accepted. And anyone who doesn't want to work in a service job might be better off choosing something else. This isn't a judgment, just an observation.

We ordered the Argentinian rump steak, tender veal strips in whisky cream sauce, and homemade marrow dumpling soup. Everything was delicious. We took it away, and it was still really fresh and tasty.

The food was good, but the service from the blonde lady was really bad. We were still waiting for her to ask about dessert. Maybe she'd be better off in another job, though at least she could eat and drink during service 🫣

The room prices are reasonable, especially considering how close the hotel is to Europa-Park. We arrived at night after the mittsommernacht event at Europa-Park, and a very friendly staff member helped us right away. We slept well, and the rooms have AC, with balconies in some of them. The breakfast was great, with loads of food to choose from. We'd stay here again and definitely recommend it if you don't want to pay up to 300 euro for a room in Europa-Park's own hotels.

We spent the night here, had dinner and breakfast, and would absolutely come back if we're near Europapark again. It's about 10 minutes from the park, and we parked right in front of the hotel overnight. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke English for foreign tourists. It was my birthday, and they surprised me with a cake in the morning. The locals were very friendly too, and came over to wish me a happy birthday. The menu had plenty of variety, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, with something for everyone's taste. My girlfriend had also emailed to ask if they could arrange a surprise in our room, and they left flowers, cheesecake, and a bottle of champagne for us.
