The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds, with free parking and a large, well-equipped playground for kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were thinking of staying closer to the town centre, but we’re so glad we chose Faxe Hotel. It’s beautifully located with amazing views, and works perfectly for families wanting to be near the Black Forest or France. We’d stay again. Thank you!

We only had one night in a family room with three twin beds and wished we could have stayed longer. The service was wonderful, and we enjoyed breakfast outside on the deck. The hotel is in a lovely little town, with views of the forest and vineyards. We’d definitely stay again.

I’ll always remember the breathtaking view in Kappelrodeck. This is a cozy inn in an idyllic setting, with comfortable rooms and a fresh, delicious breakfast that includes homemade baked goods and locally made jams and spreads. The owner and staff had plenty of good suggestions for seeing the area, and useful advice for a foreigner like me.

Our room was super clean and very quiet, and it’s a really nice hotel. I wasn’t keen on the pillows, but everything else was fine.

The surroundings are beautiful, and the place is friendly and clean. Room 21 gets quite a bit of road noise, though with the windows clouded it’s not too bad. They could really use a speed can there.
