We came expecting pizza, only to find out it's not a pizzeria anymore, so we ended up eating South German cuisine 😅. Everything else was perfect.

The area is beautiful, with terraced vineyards all around, and Winzerkeller Hex vom Dasenstein is only a short walk away. It's my favourite vineyard, and the Friday afternoon cellar tour is not to be missed. I've stayed at this lovely hotel a couple of times, years ago and again recently. The spacious rooms are clean, the balcony was great, and the food and drink were excellent. Staff are just as lovely, breakfast was good, and they kindly gave us homemade honey when we left. Highly recommended!
