A peaceful place to get away from Berlin for a quiet holiday. The beech and pine forests are lovely, with wonderful routes for walking and cycling.

I like that the windows have insect screens, so in summer you can let in fresh air at night without worrying about bugs getting inside. The hotel is pleasant to come back to for sleeping and relaxing after spending most of your time out in the amazing national park. It's pretty nice, nothing special, but it is what it says it is.

I'd give it 3.5 stars. The staff are kind and the food is good, but the Wi-Fi is bad and the rooms could be better.

The waitress was very friendly and the beer was cold. I can't really comment on the hotel, though. It seems to have lots of elderly guests.
