On my second business stay here from the US, everyone has been really nice and helpful. Thankfully, their English is better than my German. My room is around 74 Euro a night, a little small but still more than comfortable. Breakfast is what I’d call standard European, and very good. Parking can get cramped when the hotel is busy, though so far I haven’t needed to park on the street. I’d recommend it if you’re visiting or passing through Bonn.

I was in Bonn for Peoples' Climate Summit ahead of COP23 and felt a bit unsure about booking here since it cost much less than other places nearby. I ended up being so happy with the stay. The room was pristine and comfortable, with an updated bathroom, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was ample, with fruit, bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, and more. Transport was convenient, and it was an easy, pleasant walk to the historic city centre. Travelling alone as a woman, I felt safe in the area even very late at night. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were very polite and ready to help, especially the older man at reception. Breakfast was very good, and the Wi-Fi worked fine for my IT work. The room was always clean and tidy, though it felt much like a hostel room and wasn’t the best I’ve seen. For a business trip and a night’s sleep, it was good enough. They couldn’t find my reservation at first, but had a free room anyway. Getting around wasn’t ideal, though with Google Maps it wasn’t much of an adventure. The tram and shop are about 500m away, and there’s a bus stop in front of the hotel, but most trips seemed to require at least one change.

The staff were nice, but the hotel feels dated. It has an old-fashioned style, and the shower and washbasin are directly in the room.
