The bathroom was great, and the room was comfortable for a short stay. I was traveling alone for work and stayed in a double room for a few nights. We arrived late, so there was no receptionist, just a check-in machine, but it was quick and easy to use. The bed was comfortable, though in winter you need to turn the heating up high. There’s no rug, so bring warm socks or slippers. Breakfast was fine, and the staff were kind.

We got a voucher for a pretzel and coffee at the bakery next door, even though we hadn’t booked breakfast. The room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean, with complimentary coffee pods and bottled water waiting for us. There’s no one at reception over the weekend, which felt a little odd, but getting into the room wasn’t an issue.

There’s plenty of parking, and the hotel is just 10 minutes from the motorway. Check-in is automated and available around the clock, which was really handy. The room looked very nice, including a slate-tile feature wall, though a few pieces of furniture felt a bit cheap. Breakfast was acceptable.

The breakfast buffet had a very good range of choices. It’s a great little hotel, with pleasant rooms and everything you need. Wi-Fi is free; it’s not the fastest, but it works. The staff were kind, and checking in and out was easy.

The hotel is very clean and well cared for, and the automatic check-in worked great. A few things could be better: add USB sockets in the bedrooms, sort out the vending machine issues, and offer fresh milk for tea and coffee.
