Sommergarten 33

The open-plan kitchen looks superbly equipped, and the first impression of Strandläufer is modern and spotless, with thoughtful touches throughout. We're staying ten days with four adults and moved into the second vacation apartment at Gartenstraße 33 in Karlshagen yesterday. We booked linen packages, and the beds were already made. We slept well on the mattresses with no back pain, and three bathrobes are ready for a sauna visit in the next few days. There are fly screens, exterior blinds, and an electric awning. The Bang & Olufsen sound system includes a television. On our way to the beach we stopped at EDEKA, which has a wonderful selection of regional products, for our first breakfast supplies. On the way back, we tried some fish dishes for the first time. Delicious! We relaxed in the cozy corner last night, especially enjoying its huge, comfortable armchair. Now we're looking forward to the remaining nine days, and to spending time on the terrace or on the two garden loungers. The grounds are beautifully maintained, as is the village. There's a covered ping-pong table and a charcoal grill, with all the equipment for ping-pong and badminton, plus cleaning supplies. Many thanks to our hosts! More to come in the final summary.
