The location was really convenient, only about 10 minutes from the main station. The price seemed fair, but the stay still left a lot to be desired. I couldn’t find anyone to answer questions. If staff were around, they didn’t introduce themselves or say who I could contact. I tried messaging the advertised WhatsApp number for help and got no reply. The hostel also didn’t feel clean or well maintained. I found a bug on my bathroom towel in the morning, and there was leftover food sitting out that seemed to have been there for days.

It’s an affordable place, close to the main landmarks and transport. The rooms were well kept and had plenty of amenities. I also liked the kitchen and lounge as places to hang out and meet other travelers.

A quiet place that feels like home, with a nice living room and kitchen. The bathrooms are big. It’s a typical old apartment, but fully renovated.

For a pleasant stay on a good budget, this feels like home and is the best value option I’ve found in Karlsruhe. Nava, who handles customer service and bookings, is the most professional person I’ve met in 10 years of travelling.

The reception staff are genuinely helpful and great to deal with. The bath and WC are shared between every two rooms, but they were clean and useful. The location also makes it easy to get wherever you need to go.
