I didn't like having to share a bathroom or seeing all the rules on the walls. The worst part was having to leave my shoes in the Stairway. Someone had worn them in the morning and stepped the heels down.

Pension Baehr is a lovely, distinctive guesthouse in Karlsruhe, and I'm already looking forward to staying there again. It's close to Durlach train station but still quiet, with the tram or bus stop just a few minutes away, so getting around Karlsruhe is easy. The place is suited to all kinds of activities. Everything is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Pension Bähr for one night while passing through and were very well looked after. The street-facing room was cozy and fairly quiet. The shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge were clean, nicely furnished and very well maintained. We'd happily stay again.

The bed was comfortable, and the furnishings and decor were interesting. The hosts were very nice, and all the areas were clean and well cared for. If I'm in the area again, this will be my first choice.
