The view from the window is lovely, and the prices are fair. It’s a cosy, clean place with comfortable beds and everything you need. The receptionist was kind. I’d happily recommend it, and think it deserves a higher rating.
The restaurant is best forgotten. This place feels abandoned, despite having plenty of rooms across five floors, and you only find the clerk if you call him. The hall is dusty, while the standard rooms have very old carpets and furniture. The whole hotel has an old DDR style.

We left as soon as we saw the room, and decided to skip the meal. There were gray dust stains on the floor, a dirty toilet, mold in the shower, and towels that were completely frayed. The whole place felt musty and neglected, including the exterior. We’d booked through a reputable tour operator, so arriving to find no staff, just a note on the counter with meal times and the room key, was appalling.
